Get arty in this illustration workshop with archaeologist Bronagh Murray (HERoNI) on Saturday 14th June.

Learn about the history of archaeological illustrations, get up close with artefacts and discover the tools used by archaeologists to create black and white pen drawings!

In this workshop, you’ll be focusing on the Carrickfergus Tankard, a stave-built vessel bound with wide bronze hoops dating from around the first century AD.

Create an illustration of the Tankard using a template and put your newly learned techniques to the test! Please note, this is a free workshop but booking is essential.

Age group 12+
