Kate Geary, MCIfA is Head of Professional Development and Practice at the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), responsible for strategic matters relating to professional development and the historic environment, including training, CPD, qualifications and for professional practice issues and policy. Previously an archaeologist working mainly in historic environment advice roles, she started working for CIfA in January 2005, moving to her current role in 2017.
